Here's To Day One

So, this is blogging, huh? As of right now, it seems kind of boring. Hopefully it will become more interesting once people start to look at it and comment it.

Well, since this is the first one, I might as well introduce myself and explain my title
(it seems pretty self-explanatory to me, but hey, my brain jumps from one thing to another. i mean, who else can start a conversation about butternut squash, and end up talking about words in different languages in less than a minute? if you can, i like you already XD )

the title: That One Extra Think.
well, i have a brother who is mentally handicapped. no big deal. its normal life for me. but sometimes, when i have to  babysit, i'll ask him to do something, and he will (usually). but in his own way and own time. so as i'm watching
(sorry for the sudden cease of grammar. for any of those that care)
he does it in such a way that its almost more trouble than its worth. and i'm just like: seriously? ___, if you just did it this way, then it would have been so much easier. oh, well. what can you do?

so somehow, this developed into a great what-if question: what if people thought more? seriously, i'm pretty sure many problems would not even happen if we thought. and so much more would be accomplished.
(but then again, i'm nothing like Einstein or Plato or any other great person that was/is known for thinking, so how would i know)

like creating this blog, i didn't even think about blogging. it wasn't premeditated or even considered. it didn't have a spot in the whatever-percentage of brain that i use. i just considered blogging to be something of a past time for people that actually have -or think they have- something worthwhile to say. i created this blog because my BFF of all time Julie created one. for what reason? i think so others back home (like me) can know whats up in her wild college life as a freshman.

will i keep this blog going? i don't know.
would i like to? yes i would

hey, if you're bored and you would like to read some inane, dithering post about people thinking, please do. maybe, just maybe i'll write something rather witty and you will consider it amusing. (woah, lots of vocab words there). so come along for the ride!

p.s. please recall in the very beginning of this post, i considered this blog rather boring. but now, it doesn't seem so bad. the opportunity to write is here, and the chance that people will read it. so i guess, its not too bad. its just the posting. putting this out there for people to see? its like performing in front of Simon Cowell (so what if i butchered his last name. i don't really pay attention to A.I.) Beyonce, Shakira, Tom Burton, Vigo Mortenson, and Daniel Macfadyen all at the same time. oh yeah, and don't forget all the thousands of people that are in the audience. as  to why they are altogether, who knows? maybe they are doing a fantasy musical set in a roaring animated London.
