so what did i do with my day off? at first nothing. i lounged around on my sofa attempting to muster up enough energy to move. because it's not like i don't have anything to do. there's the never ending responsibility of having to take care of two acres of property single-handedly.
[which can cause headaches when my friends want to hang, yet i've got stuff to do. i was recently called out about it, claiming that i had been using it as an excuse. although i do admit that cutting down a tree using nothing but a handsaw and whatever strength my arms contain, which isn't very much, is fun, i do like to wander aimlessly at the mall. sometimes people/girls can be jerks. yes, i have three brothers but two don't even live at home anymore, and the other one is always to busy. so here's to cutting down trees!]
and what about today? well, i didn't sleep in late. i actually woke up early because i had a breakfast date to go to. my friend DT invited me over to her place to eat delicious food and meet her new boyfriend. the food was delicious, and her bf seems nice, although he's a total gearhead and his brain moves at the speed of lightning. sherlock much? i think yes. but that's a good thing because he's a smart cookie and he's obviously moving up in life. but more than that, he seems to really care about DT, which is important because she unfortunately has to deal with chronic body pain. and more than that, the docs have no idea why. so i'm just glad that she has a guy (and a good one at that) that's gonna give her a hand. oh, and breakfast was delicious.
after that, i came home, took a nap, used a weed wacker, pulled up old plastic garden lining, laid down new plastic, and discovered the amazingness that is called stove-top popcorn. it's soo good! you know that SmartPop popcorn you can buy in the store that's like $5 a bag? well, i figured out how to make my own. now i just have to perfect it. which hopefully won't take long.
...it's a good thing popcorn isn't too fatty, relatively speaking...
